2007-01-09 [Jitter]: Well I sold a thousand cards of it and he had the right to come and ask (and pay) for more when he was out. We kept the designs on our name there. Not sure how it is done in bigger companies but my ex-boss (oh so talented designer) made 5 more cards out of my design by changing colour and blending options... *sigh* Glad I left there ;)

2007-01-09 [Sunrose]: The thing is though that designs that are submitted here may be used for a business card, I need to be sure of course that I can actually do that :)
If you sold it to him, then it probably belongs to him (aside from you), it might not be a good idea to then also give it to me for possible usage..

2007-01-09 [Kaimee]: Ah, as long as the other client(s?) understood and agreed that they didn't own copyright and it stayed with you/the company, then it should be totally fine ^^ I had a few problems recently with people thinking that if they bought prints of mine then they owned the rights, and I had to go all lecturesome on their asses >:)

2007-01-09 [Jitter]: Haha I never sell the rights. It's just not worth it here. People would rather get reused stuff than pay a bit more and have their own unique logo or card. But here, I made two fresh made ^^
